I am waiting on a return or exchange – what is my status?

Great question! There are a few possible paths here. 

Lithium Returns (all Yetis) - 

  • If you have a Lithium return, our team will share an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number with you. Because our Yeti products are classified as hazardous materials by FedEx, we’ve worked closely with FedEx to establish a safe, reliable process for collecting your Yeti return. We’ll send you a box in the mail that you’ll use to pack up the Yeti product to ship back to us. This box will include the return shipping label already applied to it as well as all other hazmat documentation. It could take anywhere from .5-2 weeks for the box to get to you depending on where you are. These boxes ship from our repairs warehouse in Utah and once the box is picked up by FedEx, things are a little out of our hands. But if you haven’t received the return packaging 2 weeks after we provide you with the RMA number, please reach back out to us so that we can get that box reshipped to you. Once you receive that box, you’ll pack up the product and send it back to us - If you have the original packaging that came with the Yeti, you will want to put it in that packaging first, and then in the box that will be sent to you. If you do not have the original packaging, please make sure it is securely padded for shipping in the box we are sending (you may need to buy a new box and foam inserts from your local hardware store to do this if you did not hang on to the original packaging). Please include your RMA number on the label that will come with the box. You will need to schedule a pick-up with FEDEX for the box, as these units are classified as hazardous material.
  • Once we get your returned product (which could take anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks to reach us), we’ll process the refund or send out a warranty replacement depending on your needs.
  • Non-Lithium Returns (non warranty) -
    • For non-lithium returns, our team will share an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number with you and then you can go ahead and pack up the unit and send it via FedEx to:
      • NRI LA, 13169 Slover Ave,  Fontana, CA 92337 if the product is unopened and unused
      • 7174 South 400 West, Suite 1&2, Midvale, UT 84047 if the product is opened
    • Once we receive your product back, we’ll issue a refund or store credit (depending on what was agreed)
  •  Non Lithium Warranty Returns
    • Our team will share an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number with you and send you a prepaid FedEx shipping label that you’ll need to print out and apply to your product box. You can then drop it off with FedEx to ship back us.
    • Once we have your product back, we’ll send out the replacement product and send you tracking information once available.
